OK everyone this could be the last update or second to last update of the year. I have updated a few things on the site, mostly pictures, as well as this page. As of now, Bridgeport Speedway's season is over. I happened to finish 4th in points, and Ian Wray finished 2nd in points. Seems all the Fugly's came up short again this season at that track, but not because a lack of trying. The track was dominated this year by the front-wheel drive Volkswagons. Could this be the future of dirt racing at Bridgeport? Well, most of the Fugly drivers will never know, since none of us will be going back to that track next year.

Ian Wray will be on hiatus for the next couple of years raising his family. He won't be back at Bridgeport next year, and won't be racing anywhere while he is waiting for his second bundle of joy in his fathering career. He has sold his car, so his car will be racing, just without him.

Kenny Wallace is finished with Bridgeport as well, and has the same bad feeling towards the track as I due. Both me and him were doct 50 points for not warming a track up while we were talking to the tech guy about next years points system. This took Kenny eventually out of the points chase and out of the top 5. We both didn't want to finish the season, but did so we so we didn't sense a total loss of a season. Kenny has sold his car and WILL NOT be going back to a track that does not support it's racers at Bridgeport. There is an outside chance Kenny will be doing some enduro racing next year, but has yet to make his decision; keep posted!!

Jeff Walls at this time is leading in points at Mountain Speedway and this is the only track Jeff has raced at this season consistently. He is currently 14 points up on the 2nd place in points. Hopefully he can get a championship for the Fugly\GSW team this year! I will post a final message at the end of the entire race season, so keep posted.

Last but not least, is the close of a VERY LONG season for myself. At Bridgeport I finished 4th in points, as I mentioned above, but not because that's what I should of had. Bridgeport screwed me and Kenny, and like I said we will NOT be going back to this track, because of the way they treat us. As for my other to track chasing champoinships, I am currently 4th in points at Mountain. I have an outside, and I mean far out chance of putting together a champoinship run at this track since I am 33 points out of the championship with 1 race left here. The only things I have going for me is my car, and that I believe the last race is double points. So I have a chance, but I really need something to happen for me to get in the top 3. The one thing I do not want to do is drop out of the top 5. As for my last track, Mahoning Valley, I am currently 3rd in points at this track with 2 races to go. I have a race this Sunday, and I need some things to happen to my benefit to edge closer to a champoinship here at this track. We can all agree that we do not like the track, but NEETS has always treated us well, and we will continue to support them as long as they support us. This could be the only racing series I run next year. Anyways, I am 20 points out of 1st and 6 points out of 2nd, so I am going to need some help to move up. Not to mention the 3 guys behind me are just as close to me. Our own John Saccomandi is also in the points chase here and Mountain. He is the top 5 in points at both tracks. We both have some stuff going for us, but we will have a more clearer picture of how were doing after this race Sunday. That's about it for the updates, check back here soon for my final take on the season soon!! Good luck to us all!!

Few updates. Ian is currently 2nd at Bridgeport in points, and has 2 wins. I am currently 3rd, and Kenny is currently 4th. With the lack of cars that we are getting, it's hard to keep things close, especially when the Volkswagons are winning almost every week. The track hasn't been the best, very dry and slick. These types of tracks are right up the alley of the front wheel drive cars, since it's more like driving on asphalt. Myself I can't buy a win this year. I am still looking for my 1st win of the 2007 season (ahh!). It seems to keep eluding me. I would really like an enduro win.

Speaking of enduros, I am currently 8th in points at Moundtain Speedway and 5th at Mahoning Valley Speedway. My best finish is a 2nd with the Saturn, but I haven't been able to catch a break this year with the DNF's. I have 2 more races at Mountain and like 4 or 5 at Mahoning Valley. Time to buck up or fall.

Last, the updates I've done to the site are as follows: Winner's Circle and Pictures. I plan to eventually do another total update to the site when I have the chance. I am probably gonna make it entirely through FLASH, but it will take me a lot longer, since I do all of this freehand. So, if I do this it will be done on my end first, than updated when I have a working copy. My goal is to make the site look the same, sound the same, and feel the same with every other browser. Right now the site is more IE compatible; especially to hear the sounds. Other than that, this is all I have, keep posted.
